A fire which started in an adjacent paddock destroyed a belt of peach trees and about two acres of flower garden at the home of Mrs. M. E. Ansenne, in O'Korke Koad, Penrose, yesterday afternoon, during Mrs. Ansenne's absence. Three brigades were summoned, and were able to save the home and several glasshouses which were menaced by the fire.
