CRASH INTO CREEK.
CAR OCCUPANT INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PALMERS TON' N., Thursday. A motor car, driven by Mr. Ralph W. King, of. Palmers ton North, crashed through the railings of a small bridge 011 the Awahuri-Rongotea road and rolled on to its hood in a creek fift below. The four occupants of the vehicle all had remarkable escapes from serious injury, although one passenger, Miss Ethei Brown, of Falmerston North, was admitted to hospital suffering from head injuries. Tier condition is reported to be fairly satisfactory. Extensive damage was done to the car.
