YOUTHS GUILTY.
BURGLARY CHARGES
COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Two youths, John Thomas Backhouse, aged 20, and John Veich Crichton, also known as Jack Eunian, aged 17, were charged to-day in the Magistrate's. Court with breaking and entering and theft. They pleaded guilty and wore committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Crichton was also committed for sentence on a charge of indecently assaulting a six-year-old girl. An application for bail for Backhouse was refused. There wero also five charges of conversion of motor cars against the pair. These will bo dealt with in the Magistrate's Court after the two accused have been before the Supreme Court.
