PROSPERITY FUND GRANTS
DISTRIBUTION OF £550.
To give assistance to those in need, the committee of the Prosperity Fund met this morning, the Mayor, Mr. <i. W. Hutchison, presiding. Also present were Mr. T. McXab, Mayor of Mount Eden; Mr. R. Fernor, Mayor of Mount Albert, ami Archdeacon Holbrook. Grants totalling .tool) were made. The grants were as follow: for distribution among the societies affiliated with the Social Workers' Association. £340; Royal New Zealand Society for the Health of Women and' Children, £10(1; Auckland Hospital Auxiliary, £50; Auckland Returned Soldiers' Association, £25; Sister Hannah, -Mission House, Grey Avenue, £25; Seventh Day Adventists. Welfare League, and Dorcas Society, £10.
