BAN ON HAWKING.
MAIN CITY STREETS. The Auckland City Council at a special meeting this afternoon confirmed a by-law which will prevent hawking in Queen Street and Karangahape Road except with the permission of the City Council. The new by-law will operate on December 1 next.
