Belated Race Competitor at
Melbourne.
DISAPPOINTMENT EXPRESSED. (Received 2.30 p.m.) MELBOURXE, this day. Belated competitors in the Centenary air race to arrive at Melbourne, Mr. H. L. Brook and Miss Lay, expressed disappointment that they were given no official greening on landing on Tuesday. Officials said last night the usual official reception had been arranged at Laverton aerodrome, but the flyers made « mistake and landed at Essendon instead. The organisation'controlling the race was disbanded when it officially ended on November 10.
