WIN FOR H.M.S. PHILOMEL.
Teams representing H.M.S. Philomel and the combined fire brigades played a cricket match at Eden Park yesterday, the former winning by 153 runs on the first innings. Following were the details: — H.M.S. Philomel.—First innings. 254 for three w.ekets, declared (T>uk"S 10.1. Larney 83 not oilt, Brooke 02 not out). _ Bowling : Couldrev took three wickets for 51 runs. Fire Brigades.—First innings, 101 (Williams 31 not out. McKay 17. Oade 16).
