TE RAPA HORSES.
(By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") HAMILTON, this day. Owing to the thick fog which enveloped the course until a late hour, the timing of gallops at Te Rapa this morning was impossible. A number of candidates with engagements at Ellerslie were sent along, and all are in good fettle for their engagements. Star Artist, Royal Artist, Whirling and Dubarry galloped early. King Rey and Prince Acre were restricted to useful work. Respectful hit out over six furlongs, being picked up by King Ford at the five-furlong peg. When the fog lifted sufficiently Luminary was sent over the country, and Valpai was schooled over the fence erected in the straight. The latter did not impress.
