CLASSIC CLUB
The Classic Club's final meeting of the season was held on Tuesday evening, and there was a large attendance of members and friends. Dr. Phillips. the president, presided. The programme for the evening was made up of "request" items and Christmas solos, and was very capably carried out by the following performers: — Misses* Gwcnda Weir, Lillian Kennedy, Eileen Miller, Irene Rich, Dulcio Hughson, Messrs. Henry Donaldson, 11. D. Le Beau, and Arthur Thompson. The pianists for the evening were Messrs. Jack Buckley and Alan Pow.
A very hearty vote of thanks to Dr. Phillips, who lias been responsible for so much of tlic club's success, was proposed by Mr. Arthur Thompson unci was carricd with acclamation, and a presentation was made to the secretary, Miss Dorothy Gordon, in recognition of her services during the year.
