NORTHERN DISTRICTS. The usual monthly sale was held at Whakapma, states the report of Walter Wakolin. A full vardings,of cattle came forward and sbld well to a good attendance of buyers. The advertised dairy herd in milk met with keeii competition and a total clearance resulted. _ Quotations: —Fat cows and heifers. £2 5/ to £4; light Jersey cows and heifers, £1 15/ to £2 2/; store cows. £1 to £2; store bullocks, to £3 12/; coloured threeyear and four-year steers, to £3.10/: goodqualify Shorthorn steers. IS months to two-year-old. £3 5/ to £3 12/; two-vear-old empty Shorthorn heifers, £1 15/ to £2 3/. A line of extra choice yearling Jersey heifers, on account of Mr. R. Williams, JTukcrenui, realised £2 2/0. Medium yearling Jersey heifers made from 18/ to 22/: small heifers. 12/ to 15/; boner cows. 10/ to 17/: yearling Jersey bulls. £1 to £1 15/; aged bulls, £1 15/ to £2 12/6; cows and calves. £1 15/ to £2 5/; dairv cows. in milk. £1 10/ to £3: Jersey cows and heifers (springing). £1 10/ to £2 10/. A line of two-tooth wethers and owes (shorn) realised 20/1; wcaner pigs, 10'6 to £1; slips, £1 0/6.
