AUCKLAND LADIES' CLUB. MOTHER AND DAUGHTER WINNERS. Members of the Auckland Ladies' Golf Club took part in a four-ball best-ball bogey competition at Middlemorc yesterday, the winners being Mrs. F. MANUKAU CLUB. The final of the Manukau Golf Club's junior championship was won by Simpson, who beat Priest, 5 and 4. In the president's trophy final, Busing beat Ferguson at the nineteenth. The season will close on Saturday next, when the usual mixed foursomes will be played, pairs being arranged at the clubhouse. Members ami their friends will be welcomed by the president, who will present the trophies won during the year at the conclusion of play. MANUKAU LADIES' CLUB. The Manukau Ladies' Golf Club's season closes on Saturday next, when mixed foursomes will be played. Mrs. Rushton beat Mrs. Brookes in the final of the senior championship, and Miss McDonald beat Mrs. Fleming in the final of the intermediate championship. Mrs. Parker beat Miss McDonald in the final of the presides/*s trophy.

GLENDOWIE CLUB. The Glendowle Golf Club's closing day will be hehl on Saturday, when a mixed foursomes medal handicap will be played. Players will choose partners. WHANGAREI CLUB. In the final of the intermediate championship of the Whungarci Golf Club on the Mount Denby links, over 30 holes, \V. T. Surmnn defeated 11. Younger, 7 and C. NORTHERN WAIROA TITLE. The Northern Wairoa Golf Club's annual Labour Day tournament was held at Mount Wesley links, a number of Wliangarei players competing. The principal event, the Northern Wairoa championship, was won by C. IJalley (Whangarei), who also eclipsed the course record by returning a curd of 74. Other results :— First Group Handicap.—M. C.
