MORE LABOUR DAY TOURNEYS THE EPSOM CLUB. In the Epsom Bowling Club's tournament on Labour Day, the rinks Clarke (Carlton). Casey (Carlton), Fraser (Mount Eden) and Livingstone (Onehunga) won their sections outright. Gardiner (Otahuhu), G. Ilosking (Carlton), Sharp (Mount Albert), O'Callaghan (Epsom) and McMaster (Stanley Bay) all tied in the remaining division. Tho play-off resulted : O'Callaghan boat Sharp, Hosking beat Gardiner, McMaster a bye. O'Callaghan beat McMaster. Hosking a bye. O'Callanglian then beat Hosking, winning tha section. Livingstone beat Clark, and the remaining section play will be finalised later.

The annual full-rink tournament of the Northern Waikato Bowling Association was commenced at Pukekolie, when 22 rinks competed from Clevedon, Patumahoo, Pukekolie, Buckland. Ttiakaij and Waiukit.
Section A : Lawson, Pleydell. Bilkey, W. .T. Short (Pukekolie) were the winners, with 4 wins and 1 loss. Section B: As the result of a tie the play-off over five heads resulted : Mnrlnnd. Price, Lusher, S. Bisli (Pukekolie) i>, r. Carter. Cooper. W. Blake. ,T. Iloulston fl'ukekolie) 4. Section C: The play-off following a tie was as follows: E. Deed. C. Deed. A. Hewitt, Wright (Bucklnnd) 7, v. H. Short. Jamieson. Burrows. S. Day (Pnkekohe) 5. Section D: Winner was Seed, Fitness. Wyatt, Keith (Pukekolie), with 4 wins and 1 loss. Semi-finals and finals will be played next Saturday.
