AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. FIXTURES FOR THE SEASON. The annual meeting of tlie Auckland Yaclit and Motor Boat Association was held last evening at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron's rooms, Mr. C. H. Palmer presiding over a full attendance o£ delegates. The report stated that tho sport was making steady progress in Auckland, the 221 ; t mullet boats being especially active. This was largely due to the action of tin? association in iinalising tlie restrictions and carrying them out in an impartial and strict manner, thus giving confluence to old and new owners. ' The association had been in co-operation with the Harbour Board over various matters affecting the interests of yachtsmen and had received every consideration. Tho Tauranga Club was congratulated on winning the Cornwell Cup contest, and the opinion was expressed that amicable relations with the southern centres may be renewed. The very friendly feeling that existed between all local clubs was mentioned and tile good effect on the sport generally stressed. Tho balance-sheet showed receipts as £71 7/0. the expenses, which included payment of tlie outstanding amounts on the preparation of the Sanders Cup plans ( £13) and steel moulds (£8 0/), and secretary's honoraria for two seasons (£25 -1/), left a credit of £12 -1/7 in hand. The following officers were elected for tlie season:—Chairman, Mr. C. 11. Palmer; vice-chairman, Mr. 10. H. Northeroft; lion, secretary and treasurer, .Mr. A. J. Colllngs; lion, solicitor, Hon. John Alexander, M.L.C.; lion, auditor. Mr. B. \Y. Beaumont ; lion, measurers, Mossrs. E. J. Kelly, G. S. Miller and li. V. Tyer; starter, Mr. Geo. Mobborley ; assistants. Messrs. E. Culhano, T. MeKniglit and E. I*. Wild; judge harbour races. Mr. C. 11. Palmer; judge cruising races, Mr. E. J. Kelly; timekeeper, Mr. G. K. 1 .aycock; assistant timekeeper, Mr. \V. A. Wilkinson; observer, Lieut.-Commander •T. T. Lean, R.N.; recorder, Mr. A. J. Collings: sailing committee, tho chairman, vice-chairman, racing officials and Mr. \Y. J. Reid. The annual subscription was fixed at Mr. Palmer, in returning thanks for his re-eleclioii. said that tlie association had done good work for the sport and the clubs recognised tlie amount of time delegates devoted to their interests. He trusted that the good will existing between all clubs would con tin ue. Mr. Northeroft also thanked members for his re-election, and said Hie association had tho respect of the clubs and yachtsmen generally.

February 10.—Victoria Cruising Club, regatta ; "Royals," cruising race. February 23.—Devonport Yacht Club, regatta ; New Zealand Power Boat Association. March 2.—Ponsonby Cruising Club, regatta: "Royals," harbour race. March o.—Birkenhead and Nortlicote, regatta ; N.Z. Power Boat Association. A letter from the Naval Sailing Club offering a trophy for a whalers' race on January 10 and April 13 and 27, was received and accepted with thanks. Tho Naval Club offered the use of ten sailing whalers to be manned by crews from the local clubs on these days. A motion by the Richmond Club delegate to start the V class before the T, X and Y classes was defeated, and the times of starting as last year were adopted.
