INSULL AND COLLEAGUES.

Samuel Insull and 16 of his colleagues, including his brother, Martin, went on trial in the Federal Court to-day on charges in connection with the collapse of the vast Utility holdings in 1932. The group are specifically charged with using Federal mails to defraud investors of 143,000,000 dollars, that being the issue of the stock sold after Insull allegedly knew that his company was insolvent.
