BOWLING.
GREY LYNN CLUB. The annual prize night in the pavilion, which took the form of a social evening tendered to members and their friends by the club president, Mr. E. E. Buckley, anil his wife, proved a most enjoyable function for the large attendance. To the winners of the season's competitions,. Mr. F. A. Hosking, president of the centre, presented trophies as follow: Club fours. E. S. Laing, B. Winter, Jos. Reid, W. Curtis; Mclvor Pairs, C. 11. Prince and H. Whittle; champion pairs, E. ,T. Trewheela and T. Tonge; Christey Cups, senior championship, G. Cronin; junior championship, W. McMurchy, and to the runner-up in the last named, a special trophy donated by the club patron, Mr. T. J. Mclvor.
On behalf of the club, President Buckley presented to its secretary. Mr. W. IT. Newton, a silver cream jug and sugar basin on tray, and to the treasurer, Mr. T. G. Shaw, a crystal bowl, as expressing the high appreciation by members of the valuable services these officers bad rendered to the club durjig the last two years.
