Knocked down by a motor car in Upper Symonds Street about eight o'clock last evening, Mrs. M. Parks, widow, aged 48, of 19, Shaddock Street. Eden Terrace, suffered head injuries, and was taken to the Auckland Hospital by St. John ambulance. Her condition is not considered to be serious.
