PAKURANGA HUNT.

POINT-TO-POINT RACES. The annual point-to-point races of the Pakuranga Hunt will be held at Pigeon Mountain, Pakuranga, on Saturday, and an excellent afternoon's sport is promised. There will be five steeplechases—Members' Lightweight, Members' Heavy-weight, Ladies' Race, Farmers' Race and Open Race. A new event has been added this season—the Children's Novelty Scurry for children under 15. Their ponies are to be 13 hands and under, and entrants will be handicapped. Howick buses will leave the corner of Fort and Commerce Streets at 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m., returning at 4.15 p.m. from the post office, Pakuranga.
