NIAGARA IN PORT. } MAK'MA IN BAD W3ATHKR. Three overseas vessels arrived this i morning, two for discharge and one ', for loading. The Niagara leaves again j to-morrow afternoon. The Marama, on j the trip from Sydney, is being delayed jby bad weather! The next large ship } due is the Koyo Mara, on Wednesday. Niagara arrived this morning from 'Vancouver, and berthed at the Prince's wharf. She is discharging cargo, and after taking on passengers and mails, (die is to sail at 5 p.m. to morrow for Sydney. (U.S.S.) Marama has been hove-to for mor; than a day in the Tasman on her way from Sydney, and will not make port before Wednesday morning. (U.S.S.) Rangitata arrived from Wellington this morning to complete discharge of her cargo from London. She is at the Quern's wharf, and loads at Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier and Auckland, being due here asain ■ on September 21. (N.Z.S.) Opawa arrived from Wellington this I morning, and is completing loading at the Central wharf. She is expected to be dispatched on Thursday afternoon for London, Liverocol and Glasgow, via Cape Horn. (N.Z.S.) Koyo Maru is due from Japan on Wednesday with 2800 tons of sulphur and 700 tons of Japanese oak. (Kemptborne, Prosser.l Mariposa is due on Friday from Los Angeles with passengers, mails and cargo. She is to sail the same day for Sydney and Melbourne. (H. and M.) Narbada has reported that she is encountering bad weather. She is due on Friday from Calcutta with Eastern produce for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff. (U.S.S.) Melbourne Maru is expected on Friday from Japan, via Australia and Wellington. She ie to discharge and load, sailing probably next Monday. (F.C.A.I Golden State is discharging Pacific Coast cargo at the King's wharf, and sails about 4 p.m. to-day for Wellington and Australia. (H. "and If.) H.M.s. Dunedin and Diomede sailed this morning for the ILiuraki Guif to carry out gunnery exercises. They return to port on Friday, berthin? alongside each other at the King's" wharf. On Saturday and Sunday they will be open to the public, and leave again on Monday for the Gulf.

She will be followed by the City of Delhi, leaving New York on October 8. NAVIGATION WARNING. The Director-General of the Post and Telegraph Department. Mr. G. McNamara. has received the following warning broadcast by Sydney radio: "Dead whale at 3.30 p.m. on August 30. In a position approximately latitude 33 degrees 53* minutes south, longitude 151 degrees 20 1-3 minutes east, bearing 135 degrees from Macquarie lighthouse, distance three miles.
