Mr. D. C. Davio, originator of the Douglas Social Credit Movement in Canterbury, announces that he will contest the Hurunui seat at the next election as an Independent against the Prime Minister, Mr. George Forbes.
Mr. Davie was a farmer at Waikari for many years. He has delivered many lectures on social credit. •
