BIRKENHEAD CONCERT.
The Birkenhead Ex-Servicemen's Association held a roost enjoyable ladies ni«M in the Buffalo Hall, Brikenhearl. Included in the programme was a Russian tragedy, "The House of Twisty Windows," by the Birkdale Dramatic Club; a comedy, "Dick's Sister," by Miss Donna Voorliees and Mr. T. Moorcraft; humour by Mr. Metcalf and Mrs. Halley; and a farce, "The Family Portrait," by Mrs. Halley, Donna Voorhees, Nola Caselli, Tui Hall, and Messrs. Metcalf and Moorcraft. Mr. Val Muhrar, san" "Trees" and "Dunn," Miss Hall pleased in "I Passed By Your Window" and a humorous item. "Exit Muriel ; and Misses Catherine Sheat and Peggy Brady were seen in several attractive dances. The concert pianissimo was supplied by Miss Caselli. Mr. J. Prickett, president of the association, thanked the performers.
