DUNEDIN GRANGE SCARCITY. APPEAL TO SEAMEN'S UNION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. Owing to the great scarcity of oranges in Dunedin the executive of the South Island Fruit Produce Association has wired as follows to Mr. Clark, the Dunedin secretary of the Seamen's Union, who is in Wellington, and Mr. J. Roberts, secretary of the Alliance of Labour: "Sickness from want of oranges •is rampant in Dunedin. Urge Seamen's Union, for humanity's sake, to load Monterey and Mariposa with shipments at once, thereby ' retaining public sympathy."
