FABNELL ON TOUR.

BEATEN BY PAEROA REPS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAEBOA, Saturday. An interesting game between the Parnell senior team and Paeroa representatives provided a very fast and open game. Paeroa was too strong, and played the belter football from the outset. Their forwards attacked, and some good saving by Hearling, Parnell's full-back, prevented the home team from scoring. Fulton, Laurence, Manders and Gloyn, Paeroa's back division, worked some pretty passing bouts, three of which saw Gloyn score tries. The Parnell inside backs essayed several spectacular movements, but the defence of the home team was too solid. A long shot at goal from the field by Hearling went just outside the post.

Just before half-time the same player found the lino right on Paeroa s goal-line, and the movement after the throw-in resulted in the Paeroa's forwards, with Laverlck, McDonald and Thomas prominent, bringing play back to midfield. Half-time score: Paeroa 0, Parnell 0.

Shortly after resuming, Kerr scored for Paeroa, as a result of some fast following up by Swann, who smothered Healing's return. Parnell several times had play near Paeroa's line, but could not get over. Paeroa were having the better of the game, and a determined run by Gloyn gave Swann an opening to score, making Paeroa 15. A fast forward rush by the Paeroa forwards saw Charlesworth score. A passing bout ended in Slanders again scoring, and "Fulton converting, making the final score: Paeroa 23, raruell 0. Mr. M. Winter was referee.
