MANUKAU SUB-UNION.
On Saturday the Manukau senior reps, travelled to Wainku to play the first rep. match of th- season. Manukau won by 11 to 3 afte i very good game, the visitors showing a better knowledge of the game generally. Scores for Manukau were obtained by Ross Dow. the winger who plaved his game out of the season. HamWeil converted and also kicked two peualty goals The two Cosseys were always in the "picture, and their defence was solid. For Waiuku Moyle, Thompson and Wilson were the best, but the back division wants strengthening up to bring it up to last vear's standard.
