MR. ILOTT'S ILLNESS.
ELECTED ROTARY GOVERNOR. . BEST OF MEDICAL ATTENTION. (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday. A cablegram from Detroit yesterday announced that at the international Rotary Convention, Mr. J. M. Ilott was elected governor of the 53rd (New Zealand) district. In the evening Mr. Ilott became suddenly seriously ill, states a cablegram received to-night by the retiring governor, Mr. T. C. List. Leading doctors were called in, but were puzzled over the case, which appeared to be a form of food poisoning. Mr. Ilcvtt has been removed to the Harper Hospital for special observation and treatment. The secretary of Rotary International give« an assurance that Mr. Ilott is receiving unremitting attention and the best medical skill in America.
