McDougall, 99 —24—75. DOINGS IN THE PROVINCE. In a teams match between Hamilton and Cambridge, played at Hamilton, the home players were successful hy 13 matches to 8. Three games ended all square. In the final of the Hell Cup contest at, Hamilton, C. B. Wake defeated A. . T. Atkins 3 and 2. A bogey match played by the Rodney Club resulted in wins for S. Morrison (senior) and li. Buckley (intermediate). The senior ladies' bogey match was won by Mrs. Maclntyre, and the junior ladies' oneclub match by Miss F. Edwards. At Rotorua the home players beat a Hamilton side in an inter-club four-ball match by five games to four, one being all square. In the final for the Mac Donald Cup Poole beat Spedding 5 and 4. The first match this season between the Manukau and I'ukelcohe Clubs for the Balfour Irvine Cup was played at Pukekolie, the home team being successful by 20 matches to 5. Four gnmes were drawn. In a ladies' match at the Papamoa links To Puke defeated Whakatane by a margin of four games. A match between the Maungatapere and Wliau Valley clubs at Maungatapere resulted in a win for the home side by S matches to 5.
