TWO WEALTHY ESTATES.
SYDNEY, June 29. The will of the late Sir Alexander Jarvie Hood, eminent Sydney surgeon, was lodged for probate to-day. Deceased's Xew South Wales estate is valued at £180,325. The testator, who was a bachelor, left many bequests to charitable institutions and the residue of his estate to his sisters and relatives. A British official wireless message states that the will has been published of the late Lord Tredegar, who left £2,3.09,085 in his settled and unsettled estate. The amount of estate duty payable, to the Treasury is about £1,180,000.
