ROTARY CLUB DANCE.

MEMBERS AND WIVES PRESENT.

A particularly enjoyable dance "was held in the banqueting hall of the Farmers' Trading Company last evening, when the Auckland Rotary Club held its annual function. r fhe "Rotary-Arms" and a large number of friends were present and tho whole evening went with the swing that characterises all Rotary occasions. The largo room presented a very attractive appearance, a number of charming frocks being worn by the ladies, and further colour was added by the bowls of gaily coloured flowers which were set on small tables surrounding the floor. Tho latest dance numbers were played by an orchestra, which was seated in one corner of the hall, and seating accommodation was arranged for the guests round the side walls. Supper was set at long tables in the adjoining room, and hero the tables were gay with tall vases of Iceland poppies. During an interval in the dancing the retiring president, Mr. S. J. Harbutt, introduced the incoming president, Mr. G. A. Taylor, the vice-president, Mr. J. McKenzie Wilson, and tho secretary, Mr. Gordon Luke. Among those present were:—Mrs. S. J.
