FILM STARS SCARED.

Infantile Paralysis Epidemic At Hollywood. BAN ON BATHING-POOLS. HOLLYWOOD, June 24. Members of the motion picture colony in Hollywood are observing a general ban on bathing pools as the result of an epidemic of infantile paralysis traced to that source. Hal Rosson, husband of Jean Harlow, and Ida Lupino are among the picture people who are suffering. Hundreds of cases throughout the city were reported during the month. Practically every estate on Beverly Hills has magnificent pools, but they are not being used. Marlene Dietrich, Harold Lloyd, Carl Brisson and Charles Ruggles, comedian, are among the many who have closed their pools for the duration of the epidemic.
