40TH BIRTHDAY.
"BACHELOR PRINCE." Press Ceases Wondering Why Britain's Heir Is Single. UNQUENCHABLE VITALITY. (United P.A.-Electric Telegraph-Copyright) (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, June 24. Recent pictures of the Prince of Wales show him still slim and retaining his unquenchable vitality. His fair hair is untinged with grey. His speeches reveal wisdom, humour, natural authority, and a deep understanding of life. He still demands the right to go his own way in hie own hours. Newspapers have taken to calling him the "bachelor Prince" and have ceased wondering why he does not marry. The Prince celebrated his 40th birthday yesterday, and in accordance with his usual custom took luncheon with the King and Queen at Windsor Castle.
