HUME PIPE (FAR EAST). j INCREASE IN NET PROFIT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A cablegram received by the Stock Exchange Association states that the net profit of Hume Pipe (Far East), Limited, for the year ended March 31 was £3627, after providing for taxation. The directors recommend a dividend of 3 per cent, payable on July 11; This, with, the interim dividend already paid, makes 6 jier cent for the year. The company was formerly known as the Singapore Hume Pipe Company, Limited, but owing to an extension of its activities to Hongkong and. Shanghai the name was changed to Hume Pipe (Far East). Limited, after last year's annual meeting. The profit earned is an increase of £1214 on that of the previous year. The dividend rate is unchanged.
