The team to represent the North Island in the inter-island trial at Auckland on July 7 will not necessarily be chosen from the above-mentioned players. Altogether, sixty-six nominations were received by the selectors for the trial at Wanganui. The Auckland selector nominated six players, and four of these have been included. The two whose names do not appear are 11. G. Bush ('Varsity) and H. F. McLean (Grafton). The New Zealand team for Australia will bo announced after the engagement at Eden Park on Saturdav week.
