ON FERRY TICKETS.
.Code-words that are at the moment in the public.mind are sometimes used instead of numbers by the Devonport Steam Ferry Company to distinguish the current weekly ticket. This week and last they had kept pace with the topical interest in Teet cricket, last week's code-word being "Trent, and this week's "Lord's." If Australia wins the second Test, some of the more ardent colonials will probably expect something -triumphant c-n next weeks .ticket, ;„ ~:'.
