TASMAN FLIGHT.
FAITH IN AUSTRALIA.
MR. ULM LEAVING SOON,
Mr. C. T. P. Ulm, who arrived by the Aorangi from Sydney this morning, said tests would probably bo made at Hobsonville this afternoon of his 'plane Faith in Australia. If the trials were satisfactory he might fly to the Ninety-Mile Beach to-morrow, and would "hop off" for Sydney as eoon as he received a "decent weather report." He would have the same crew as he brought across.
Referring to the Centenary Air Race Mr. Ulm said he had every confidence in Sir Charles Kingsford Smith's chances. "While I wish everybody taking part a good trip," he said, "1 have the greatest faith in 'Smithy's' ability to select a machine, 'and in hie ability to win."
