SIXTH SHIP.

STEWARDS' DISPUTE. WAIMARINO INVOLVED. MARITIME TROUBLE CONTINUES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON", this day. The addition of tlie cargo steamer Waimarino to the list of five Union Steam Ship Company ships already idle is the latest development of the shipping holdup in Wellington, caused by the dispute between the company and the Cooks anci Stewards' Union. The Waimarino arrived at Wellington from the South on Sunday with a consignment of potatoes for the Auckland market. On Monday morning one of her cooks came ashore sick. It was later reported that the man had been replaced and that the vessel would sail that night. However, the Waimarino did not get away. It was understood that one of the greasers was missing, attempts to find another were unsuccessful, and the sailing had to be postponed. It was then thought that the ship would depart today, but efforts to find a cook, it is reliably stated, were unavailing. The Waimarino's time of Mailing is therefore unknown. The ferry steamer Wahine left Wellington for Lyttelton over an hour late. It is understood a member of the crew was missing and had to be replaced before the vessel could leave.

In addition to tlie Waimarino, the immediate movements of which are uncertain, the vessels affected at Wellington by the dispute are the MaTaira, Monowai, Maori, Kaimai and Kiwi tea. The Monowai was moved on Monday morning from her berth at Queen's wharf to Clyde Quay wharf and now occupies the place vacated by the Makura, which is lying at the dock wharf. The Kiwi tea went into the floating dock yesterday morning for overhaul.
