TRIALS AT TE RAPA.
Tradesman Finishes On. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") HAMILTON, this day. The course proper, 45ft out, was open foi fast work at Tc Rapa this morning. Several local maiden candidates for the Te Awamutu meeting were sent along. Worthy King ran half a mile in 535, Silver Wattle taking similar time. King Roy and Anagram were associated over five furlongs run in 1.7 4-5, the first half in 535. Moss Vale ran five furlongs iu 1.7 4-5, and Tradesman a mile in 1.52, finishing strongly. Englishman and Cordon were sent over a round, Cordon pulling out after seven furlongs. Englishman came home in 2.12 3-5. Wilton was timed to run a similar distance in 2.13%. Silver Briar, alone, was not doing her best to register 1.10 1-5 for five furlongs, the first half-mile taking 555.
