FINER WEATHER.
MILD DAYS; COLD NIGHTS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A fairly intense anti-cyclone is now moving from the Tasman Sea on to New Zealand. The forecast is for light to moderate south to south-east winds; weather Hue, with cold night, but milder day temperatures, and seas smooth to moderate. WEATHER IN HATJRAKI GULF. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day: Wind, south-south-east, fresh; sea moderate; fine and clear with blue skies; visibility good; barometer rising slowly.
