DISCARDS LEG- FIELD. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, June 13. Larwood, on the advice of his captain, A. W. Carr, refused to comment regarding reports that the county teams were threatening not to play against his county, Notts. Larwood to-day eschewed leg-theory, and bowled with the orthodox field at a dazzling pace. He took throe Essex wickets for nine runs off live overs. Voce bowled to a leg field. M
