TOLL OF SICKNESS.
Staffs of some business firms in the city are temporarily depleted by illness. For the most part this is of a mild form, although a few serious cases of influenza have been reported. Most people affected are following advice to keep warm in bed, with the result that absences from offices are not prolonged.
