QUARRY FATALITY.
DEATH OF TWO WORKMEN. (Received 11.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this clay. Two men, Sidney Cornish, 48, and Jack Stewart, 33, were working on an "0.K." ledge about 50 feet up the face of an excavation when a prematiu - e explosion hurled them to the bottom of the quarry. Cornish was •killed instantly and Stewart died in hospital.
