HOSTEL COLLAPSES.
50 People Crushed to Death in Indian Village. I FALL OF BIG TREE. (Received 10 a.m.) CALCUTTA, June 12. Fifty people were crushed to death and scores were injured in the collapse of the Pilgrims' Hostel in the village of Rahata, near Ahmednagar, Bombay. The weekly fair was being held in the village when a heavy downpour drove many to talie shelter in the hostel on which a big tree fell, wrecking the building.
