COURTESY TO THE COLOURS.
I road with contempt "Spectator's" letter regarding "Courtesy to the Colours." I wonder if "Spectator" has had any service to his country to his credit. Apparently not, if he treats the- saluting of the colours with "amusement." The colours of a regiment are to the soldiers of that regiment something to look up to. The average well-mannered man will hare his head at a passing funeral, so why not to the colours, for whom so many men have died serving? TERRITOKIAL.
