WHANGAREI RIFLE CLUB.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. The Whangarei Miniature Rifle Club held its usual mid-week shoot last evening, the Bargain Store Cup, for teams of three, being contested. The "Northern Advocate" team, with 294 points, won from a team consisting of Dr. Buckley, A. D. Jack and F. Jennings, whose total was 293. N. Matthews, a junior member, won the evening's trophy, scoring 95—6—101. The A grade Buckley rooster was retained by M. K. Stewart, who beat A. Higgins and Mrs. Hill; and W. Bingon kept possession of the B grade Buckley rooster against W. Davies.
