DOMINION PRODUCE.
CAMPAIGNS IN BRITAIN.
LONDON, May 29,
The Agent-General for Victoria, Mr. R. Linton, has negotiated with shipping companies, and as a result two of them have agreed to institute a monthly service between Australia and Avonmoutli if sufficient cargo is offering.
The Agent-General for South Australia, Mr. L. L. Hill, stated to-day that Australian producers should take concerted action to reap the benefit of the valuable contact the Agents-General had established with Bristol merchants. Moreover the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Clyde Navigation Trust, had launched a campaign to achieve direct trade with the Dominions, of which New Zealand was taking advantage by instituting a fortnight's sale "drive" of all her primary products. Australia should emulate New Zealand's example.
