MIGRATION CURE.
BRUCE AND UNEMPLOYMENT. (Received 1.30 p.m.) OTTAWA, May 29. "Great Britain's unemployment problem will remain unsolved until the flow of surplus population to the Dominions is resumed," Mr. Stanley Bruce declared in a public address to-day. Since the Dominions offered the only outlet, and since they would be unable to take immigrants until a measure of prosperity was restored, it was an advantage to Britain to* co-operate toward the restoration of prosperity in the Dominions. Apart from the question of traditional sentimental ties, Britain was the logical trading associate of the Dominions, and Britain offered a natural, industrial complement to primary producing Dominions such as Australia and Canada.
