TE AROHA CROQUET CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING HELD.
The annual meeting of the Te Aroha Croquet Club was held on Monday, when •there were a large number of members present. The president, Mrs. W. Monson, presided, and Mrs. F. Wild, secretary, read the annual report and balance-sheet, which showed that the club both financially and otherwise had experienced a very successful season, and were in the unique position of having won, and are holding, both the South Auckland Club Associations gold stars and gold buttons. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the outgoing president and committee. The election of officers for the ensuing season was as follows: —Patron, Mr. R. Coulter; president, Mrs. C. Rayner; vice-presi-dents, Mesdames Mouson and Hepburn, secretary, Mrs. F. Wild; auditor Mr. Christenserh; committee Mesdames Dearlove, Billing, Bliss, Meikle, Buclian and Stewart; delegates to South Auckland Association, Mesdames Rayner, Wild and Meikle. Afternoon tea was provided by Mesdames Meikle and Bliss.
