TAURANGA NOTES.
Miss Spence, of Hawera, is staying at the Commercial Hotel. Mrs. S. Steele, of Omokoroa, lias returned after a few days spent in Auckland. , , Mrs. B. Hyland, of Taneatua, who has been spending a short holiday in Awikland, is now staying with her mother, Mrs. W. Gilmour, Devonport Road. Mrs. H. M. Eogerson, of Epsom, who is in Tauranga on account of the illness of her daughter, Miss Nancy Rogerson is staying with Mrs. Robbie, First Avenue. Miss Rogerson, who was taken seriously ill while spending a. holiday with her aunt, Mrs. Robbie, is making, a good recovery after her operation. Miss Patrick, director of Plunket Nursing, and Dr. Tweed, medical advisor to the central council, have been visiting Tauranga. Yesterday morning Dr. Tweed met tlie members the oca committee and gave a most interesting talk on matters affecting the Plunket movement. He congratulated the lau ranga branch on their work. On tiie motion of Mrs. Robbins, seconded by Mrs. Hall, a hearty vote of thanks was passed to Dr. Tweed for his address. Those present included: Mesdames W. S. Harris C. Keene, J. S. Thompson, T. IT. Hall, B. C. Robbins. A. Nell. CramerRoberts, Glackcn, A. E. Newsham, and Miss Adams. Miss Patrick and Dr. Tweed left by train later for Hamilton.
