HARBOUR BRIDGE COMPANY.
Tlio shareholders in this company have been very patient and have consistently accepted tlie statements that negotiation.; were proceeding satisfactorily and must bo kept confidential. It seems to me, however, that the latest turn of events entitles them to a>sk for a candid statement of the position. Meetings lave been held in private conference with various North Shore borough councils, and the shareholders arc surely justified in expecting the same confidences and are just as likely to respect them. It is also proposed to eencl Mr. A. Harris to England, afld before such expense is in-curbed the shareholder.* ought to be allowed to consider whether tlii.s is wise. So far as 1 am aware, they are completely in the dark. SHAREHOLDER.
