DEPARTMENTAL ATTITUDE.
QUESTION OF HOUPvS. "There is 110 ban 011 the broadcasting of Rugby League football in Auckland," said the district radio engineer, Mr. L. L. Macey, this morning. Sir. Macev said that the position was that Station IZB had applied for an extension of hours, but 011 the application being submitted to Wellington a reply was received that the extension could not be granted. A broadcast of football could only be made from a station that operated at the hours which would (it in with the particular matches.
