STERILISATION.
Those who have read "Caesar's Column" will remember that when the great revolutionary fighting was) over Caesar got himself magnificently drunk. 'Some or one of his lieutenants came to Caesar and asked him what was to he done with the dead.' The answer was worthy of Caesar and the. occasion: "Kill 'em! Damn 'em!" Our J.P.'s have come forward as learned in.,eugenics and heredity. They become oracular on the subject of '"'the sociallv inadequate classes," Presumably they feel themselves well qualified for the task. Inter alia, they raise the question, "What is to be done with the wavward. the blind, the orphans, the poor and the homeless?" They supply their own answer: "Sterilise 'cm!" THOS. B. SLIPPER.
