PENWOMEN'S CLUB.
The annual meeting of tlie arts and] crafts section was I)eld in the League of New Zealand Penwomen's rooms, Shorts Buildings, this week, the convener, Mrs. Tonkin, presiding. The past year's report of activities was read by Mrs Masefield, tlie secretary. After the election of officers for the ensuing vear a vote of thanks was aesorded the retiring members. Mrs. Ryburn was elected convener, and Mrs. Masefield secretary, the committee comprising Mesdames Tonkin and Snadden, Misses Youn" and Melville. After some amusing sketches by members, supper brought I tlie evening tc a close.
